God Feed The Israelite With Manner
According to the book of Exodus in the Bible, after the Israelites had escaped from Egypt and were wandering in the wilderness, they began to complain about not having food. In response, God provided a miraculous food called manna that would appear on the ground each morning for the Israelites to gather and eat.
The Bible describes manna as “a fine, flake-like thing, fine as the frost on the ground” (Exodus 16:14). It tasted like wafers made with honey (Exodus 16:31). Each morning, the Israelites would go out and gather enough manna for that day’s needs. They were instructed not to try to store it, as it would spoil if kept overnight, except on the day before the Sabbath when they could gather enough for two days.
The manna provided by God sustained the Israelites during their 40 years of wandering in the wilderness before they reached the Promised Land. It was a miraculous provision that demonstrated God’s care and provision for His people. The Israelites were able to eat the manna until they reached the land of Canaan and could begin cultivating their own food.
The account of God feeding the Israelites with manna is found in Exodus chapters 16-17. It is seen as a significant event in the Israelites’ journey from Egypt to the Promised Land, highlighting God’s faithfulness in providing for their needs.
